Assistive Technology Access Across America

Helping People With Disabilities Access Technology That Supports Greater Independence

The federal Assistive Technology Act supports a nationwide network of programs that help individuals with disabilities learn about, evaluate, access, and acquire assistive technology.

What Is the Assistive Technology Act?

Assistive technology can play an important role in helping people with disabilities live more safely, independently, and with greater dignity. Federal legislation created and continues to support a nationwide network of State Assistive Technology Programs.

Carebidet & Assistive Technology

The Carebidet is an automated in-bed toileting care system designed to support individuals who have significant mobility limitations and may require assistance with toileting.

By automatically detecting, removing, washing, and drying following urinary or bowel elimination, the Carebidet can help reduce the need for repeated transfers to a toilet, bedside commode, bedpan, or traditional brief-changing routine.

Existing Toileting Care Solutions vs. Carebidet

Carebidet is designed as an automated in-bed toileting care system that detects urine and feces, removes waste, washes, and air-dries. The comparison below separates those functions so that unlike products are not presented as though they perform the same work.
